Sihle Insurance Group Adds Top Professionals At its Vero Beach and Lakeland Offices

Business Wire, Inc.

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sihle Insurance Group, a leading full-service, independent insurance brokerage firm serving all of Florida, is growing again. Company President Ken Sihle today announced the addition of two new professionals at its Vero Beach offices and one at its Lakeland location.

Jason Tetrault and Doug Johnson have joined the staff at Vero Beach. Sihle Insurance Group opened the Vero regional office last year under the management of longtime insurance professionals Michael Harris and Sheila Julian, who have more than 40 years of combined insurance experience.

Kathleen D. Jones joins the Sihle/Waller Agency in Lakeland, which opened this year under the leadership of well-known Lakeland area businessman, Jimmy Waller.

Tetrault specializes in providing risk management products for contractors, condominiums, distributors and lessors. Johnson’s career began as a field underwriter for a large insurance company specializing in contractors, fleet services, petroleum, building material dealers and large property risks.

In Lakeland, Jones takes the position of Account Manager, Large Commercial Accounts. She began her insurance career in 1991, and has held her property and casualty agent's license since 1993.

"Our firm is always looking for top professionals to serve our clients, and with Tetrault, Johnson and Jones, we believe we have brought in three of the top producers in the Southeast," commented Sihle. "As we continue to execute our vision for significant growth in the next decade and beyond, we will be relying on people like them to provide the kind of customer service that has helped our firm to maintain a leadership position in the insurance industry for nearly 40 years."

ABOUT SIHLE INSURANCE GROUP

With property and casualty premiums of $151 million last year, Sihle ranked No. 70 in Insurance Journal’s Top 100 Private/Independent Agencies, and is consistently in the Top 100 over the years. The company now has 140 employees.

Founded by Gerald “Jerry” Sihle in 1974, Sihle Insurance Group offers a comprehensive array of business, personal, employee benefits, bonds and specialty lines of insurance, in addition to payroll services. Sihle is headquartered in Altamonte Springs, with sales and service offices in Deland, Fort Myers, Jacksonville, Lakeland, Pensacola, Tampa Bay and Vero Beach.
