GLASTONBURY, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- SEG Software, LLC (SEG) a provider of industrial strength policy administration software to the life, health, and annuity industries, today announced the introduction of SEG SaaSTM, the “software as a service†(SaaS) offering of its policy administration solution.
The SEG SaaS offering includes straight-thru-processing capabilities for all lines of life and annuity products, as well as modules for carriers with niche needs such as commission and payout processing. With SEG SaaS, carriers are able to quickly and easily take advantage of the cost and process efficiencies of SEG Admin’s modern technology and rules engine.
Tom Johnson, the President of SEG, commented, “In today’s tough economy, carriers have limited capital funds for long term investments and large technology related projects. SEG’s rules engine technology enables each carrier to quickly configure its unique product features and product calculations. In addition, regulatory requirements can be changed to meet each carrier’s interpretations of the statutes.
“It is very important,†Johnson continued, “that each insurance carrier have operational control to maintain a high level of customer service. Our SaaS offering eliminates the time and headaches associated with a traditional implementation project. To access the system, the client only needs to have access to an Internet Explorer browser – we’ll take care of everything else.â€
