While CRH typically sees modest year-to-year fluctuations in uninsured emergency room visits, the increase this year is "an abnormal trend," hospital officials said.
The increase comes as states across the country have seen steep drops in the number of people covered by the Affordable Care Act over the past year, The Associated Press recently reported, citing data released by the Trump administration in late June.
