Randi Grassgreen Joins Crestone Capital Advisors LLC Ownership Group

BOULDER, Colo., April 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Crestone Capital Advisors LLC, an independent wealth management firm with a singular focus on serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, announced that Randi Grassgreen has joined the firm's ownership group, becoming a Member of Crestone Capital Advisors LLC, effective January 1, 2011.

Ms. Grassgreen joined Crestone Capital Advisors in late 2008 as the firm's Director of Family Wealth Planning. During her tenure at Crestone, she has significantly enhanced the firm's service offering to clients in the areas of income tax and estate planning, philanthropy management, and asset protection.

Prior to joining Crestone, Randi was a shareholder at Gelt & Grassgreen P.C. in Denver, CO. In addition, Grassgreen was an associate attorney at Gorsuch Kirgis, LLP in Denver, CO, where she assisted clients in estate and income tax and business succession planning. Before her tenure at Gorsuch Kirgis, Randi held a number of senior tax roles at Ernst & Young, LLP.

Randi is a member of the American, Colorado, Denver County and Boulder County Bar Associations.  She is also a member of the Denver and Boulder Estate Planning Councils. Randi has also been serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of ColoradoSchool of Law in Boulder, Colorado since 2008, teaching a course in Wills & Trusts. In addition, Randi sits on the legal committee of the Community Foundation of Boulder County, as well as on the board of directors for Boulder Valley Women's Health Center.  She is also a partner of the nonprofit organization Social Venture Partners of Boulder County.

Randi received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of ColoradoSchool of Law in 1998; she received both her Masters of Taxation and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, in 1992.
