RN Refresher Course at CCM

Registered nurses who have been out of the field for a while and want to update their skills can do so this spring by taking the RN Refresher program at
This is an intensive program for RNs returning to the nursing workforce or those needing to update their clinical skills and nursing theory. It also is a good course for current RNs in non-clinical roles wanting to revive their clinical skills.
The course runs
The program consists of 24 lecture hours at CCM and 77 clinical hours at a local hospital, totaling 101 contact hours. The clinical experience is mandatory. Topics covered include physical assessment, skills review, pharmacology update, legal and ethical issues, fluid and electrolyte imbalances, infection control and assessment, and nursing management of major clinical problems.
