Quincy Mutual Introduces Agencyport’s AgencyConnect for Real-Time Rating [Manufacturing Close – Up]

Agencyport Software, a provider of software and services to the global insurance and reinsurance industries, announced that Quincy Mutual has gone live with AgencyConnect, a complete agency interface solution that will enable the insurer to provide real-time comparison quotes to its agent partners.

According to a release, the implementation is further evidence of an industry-wide trend of leading carriers facilitating business processes by providing a single, consistent workflow for multiple carriers-saving agents time and money and improving the overall business process.

AgencyConnect processes and normalizes policy data sent by agents via ACORD AL3 or XML and securely transfers it to Quincy Mutual's back-end systems-enabling agents to submit a new quote, complete an application or make an inquiry on an existing policy.

The comparison raters supported by Quincy Mutual include Boston Software's Winrater and SinglePoint, Vertafore's PL Rating, and coming soon, Webcetera's EZ Lynx. Quincy Mutual also supports inquiry from Applied and Vertafore.
