Synopsis Correct Underground Pipe Freezing Problems General Services Administration Jackman LPOE, 2614 Main Street Sandy Bay Township, ME 04945

The contractor shall provide for any and all provisions - including but not limited to materials, labor, equipment, associated administrative, scheduling coordination and security costs required to perform Direct Digital Control, Plumbing and Earth work at the Land Port of Entry near Jackman, Maine with all required work to include, but not limited to:

Base Bid: * Install piping and controls to insure the underground piping does not remain inactive for an extended period of time. * Connect freeze protection controls to the existing Building Maintenance System * Insulate exterior areas where freezing could occur * Install cleanouts to allow backup piping to be inspected / freeze protected and blown out. * Repipe sewage pump station to allow for a backup force main.

The Contractor shall be ultimately responsible for verification of all existing conditions. Submission of an acceptable proposal to the government shall serve as the contractor's validation of existing site conditions and understanding of the requirements. Furthermore all applications shall be consistent with standard industry practice - all federal state, and local codes and standards.
