The two suspects fled on foot and attempted to hide in a nearby barn, still being monitored by the helicopter which relayed their movements to ground units. The suspects were eventually cornered and taken into custody without further incident.
Simmons said a civilian vehicle was unintentionally spiked in
"I'm glad these group of guys came so fast before who knows what would have happened" Eggett said.
K-9 Units were dispatched to search the area after intial reports indicated the suspects had a firearm, however Simmons said they didn't find anything.
