Planet Fitness Appoints Corey Benish As Chief Information Officer

NEWINGTON, N.H., June 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Planet Fitness, the innovative health club franchise known for its Judgement Free Zone^® and affordable prices, today announced that Corey Benish has been appointed to the position of Chief Information Officer, reporting directly to Planet Fitness Chief Executive Officer Chris Rondeau. Benish will oversee the company's technology strategy, leading initiatives to build and scale its systems and data to support the brand's strategic and aggressive growth.

Prior to joining Planet Fitness, Benish served as Chief Technology Officer at National Dentex Corporation. Prior to National Dentex Corporation, Benish was Chief Information Officer at AGA Medical Corporation. Earlier in his career, Benish spent several years at Jefferson Wells, now Experis, where he led the Technology Risk Management Practice, and at MoneyGram International, where he held various IT management roles.
