ALBANY, N.Y., July 28 -- The New York State Insurance Fund issued the following news release:
NYSIF is pleased to announce the implementation of a new Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system menu for its workers' compensation (1-888-875-5790) and disability benefits (1-866-NYSIFDB) customer service call centers. Callers should listen carefully as the menu prompts have been changed to more efficiently route incoming calls. The changes to the IVR will further allow NYSIF customers to self-serve and are aimed at saving our callers valuable time.
We encourage all of our callers to carefully listen to our new main menu prompts, which are as follows:
* Are you a policyholder or would you like to become one?
* Are you a claimant or injured worker?
* Are you calling to report an injury?
* Are you a medical provider?
* Do you need to report fraud?
* Do you need website assistance or pharmacy benefit management?
We are confident these improvements will better serve your needs. Thank you.
