Monica Berry Joins Quantros as Director of Patient Safety Services

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Monica Berry, a healthcare executive with more than 20 years of patient safety, quality improvement and risk management leadership experience, has joined Quantros, Inc. as Director of Patient Safety Services. In her new position, Berry will provide consulting services to Quantros clients, its Patient Safety Organization (PSO) partners and their clients. Berry will also act as a consulting conduit between the Quantros Patient Safety Center (QPSC) and its provider members.

Berry’s patient safety leadership experience includes developing and implementing two federally-certified PSOs. She is a past President of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) and has represented the voice of risk management and patient safety on several national boards, including the National Coordinating Council on Medication Error Reporting and Prevention (NCCMERP), United States Pharmacopeia Board of Governors, and ASHRM’s National Advisory Council for Patient Safety.

Monica is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) and a Distinguished Fellow in the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (DFASHRM). She is a faculty member of ASHRM’s Patient Safety Curriculum, the Barton Certificate in Healthcare Risk Management Program, and is the team leader for ASHRM’s CPHRM Examination Preparatory Course.
