MedCost Benefit Services Selects Urix Analytic Platform for Healthcare Claims Analysis; Interface Tool Will Provide Enhanced Employer-Group Executive Summary Reports

CHESHIRE, CT - March 2, 2006
Urix announced today it has signed a contract with MedCost Benefit Services (MBS), a Winston-Salem, N.C.-based healthcare benefits administrator. Urix will provide MBS with an analytics and reporting solution designed to supply employer-group accounts with automatically-produced executive summary reports, supplemented by an intuitive, drill-down tool for web-based analysis of claims data.
MedCost Benefit Services will use the Urix Analytic Platform to implement a comprehensive employer reporting solution that supplements its current reporting efforts and enhances the reports MBS will deliver to its clients.
The Urix solution is a powerful yet easy-to-use interface for claims data analysis, enabling quick response to questions raised by employer clients. It is also capable of providing select group accounts with web-based access to the Urix interface, including in-depth analysis on claims information, the forecast of medical costs with the integrated predictive modeling tool, and the ability to compare utilization and costs to benchmark data.
