MassMutual Announces Two Promotions to Senior Vice President

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., April 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) announced today the following promotions to Senior Vice President.
Sri Dronamraju, Enterprise Technology. Mr. Dronamaraju serves as MassMutual's Chief Information Risk Officer, and is responsible for developing and maintaining a multi-faceted approach for identifying and mitigating information risk, including strong policy, threat detection and deterrence, data loss prevention and employee education. Under his leadership, MassMutual has developed comprehensive information technology policies and a governance framework across the company and its subsidiaries, resulting in the creation of a security and operations center that provides constant, real time, 24x7 global threat monitoring and incident response. Mr. Dronamraju's promotion reflects the continuing importance of information security to MassMutual's business and his ability to position the company with strong and comprehensive information risk management capabilities. Mr. Dronamraju joined MassMutual in 2008 and resides in Ellington, Conn.
Scott Palmer, Retirement Services Systems.Mr. Palmer is responsible for managing information technology and systems for the corporate, union, nonprofit and governmental employers' defined benefit, defined contribution and nonqualified deferred compensation plans for MassMutual's Retirement Services division. Since joining MassMutual in 2008, he has led efforts to enhance and strengthen the division's systems and technology functions during an unprecedented period of growth for the business. Under Mr. Palmer's leadership and partnership with others in the Retirement Services division, the company has implemented a number of initiatives designed to meet the current and future needs of MassMutual's plan sponsors and retirement plan participants. These include award winning participant statements and MassMutual's RetireSmart(SM) participant web site, as well as innovative plan sponsor and participant online tools. Mr. Palmer resides in East Longmeadow, Mass.
