Joseph Torella Named National Practice Leader of Employee Benefits for Hub International Limited

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Hub International Limited (Hub), a leading insurance brokerage firm, announced today that Joseph Torella has been appointed the National Practice Leader of Hub’s Employee Benefits Division. Joe will report to Larry Lineker, Hub’s Chief Sales Officer. Joe will continue his duties as President of the Employee Benefits Division of Hub International Northeast (Hub Northeast), based in New York, a position he has held since 2009, reporting to Marc Cohen, President and CEO, Hub Northeast.

As National Practice Leader, Joe will focus on providing leadership and implementing strategic initiatives across Hub’s footprint throughout the U.S. and Canada, building and expanding Hub’s offerings as a top employee benefits solutions provider. A 24 year industry veteran, he brings experience in all facets of employee benefits to the position, having worked on both the carrier and consulting sides of the industry, in addition to his brokerage experience. Joe will work with Hub’s employee benefits team to continuously develop new resources and delivery platforms to improve client communications and value-added services. He will be responsible for advising and informing clients regarding the evolving health care landscape in the U.S. In addition to his expertise in Health Care Reform, he is a frequent speaker at industry events on a wide variety of topics including Consumer-Driven Health Care, wellness programs, and many other topics.
