ISACA Brings New Training Courses to IT Professionals in the Denver Area

ISACA, a nonprofit association of more than 95,000 IT governance professionals in 160 countries, is offering a new format of its training courses that remains true to the association's former Training Weeks, while meeting the need for shorter, yet in-depth and intense, educational events on audit, security and governance topics. Throughout the
ISACA will host two- and four-day training courses featuring IT assurance, security, governance and risk topics in
Cloud Computing Fundamentals for IT Professionals (two-day course) will define the cloud, identify service delivery models and explore threat and security issues related to data computation and outsourcing.
Information Risk and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Planning (two-day course) will provide the criteria and actions necessary to implement and sustain an information risk management program that includes plans for business continuity and disaster recovery.
COBIT: Strategies for Implementing IT Governance (four-day course) will provide an understanding of COBIT 4.1 and how to implement COBIT in the enterprise.
Cloud Computing--Seeing Through the Cloud: What the IT Auditor Needs to Know (four-day course) will provide the tools to create an audit plan based on cloud computing services. Challenges to adopting the cloud and how to manage risk associated with it will also be discussed.
Governance of Enterprise IT (GEIT) (four-day course) will provide those with managerial responsibilities the tools needed to develop a governance strategy to bring value to the enterprise and manage risk, while aligning with the existing business philosophy and IT processes.
Information Security Management (four-day course) will provide instructions on designing and managing a security management program and developing procedures to help respond to and recover from disruptive information security events.
