Jun 09, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Hyland Software and Duck Creek Technologies have formed a partnership to offer insurers a technology matchup like automating exceptions and integrating content with e-mail.
The Hyland Software and Duck Creek partnership provides a solution to automate processes and manage content. Insurers will have the abilities such as: automating processes when exceptions occur; access to agent portals; visibility into business and other processes; media storage like audio files and content management that provides a customer view.
Sam Mazzola, director of insurance solutions at Hyland Software, said: "Insurers are looking for technology that manages their processes from start-to-finish. To get that, they have realized it's better to use the pieces of insurance software like enterprise content management and policy administration that solve their problems best, rather than relying on one vendor that claims to do it all.
"Technology that doesn't address their needs, and doesn't work together, is not just an inconvenience, it hurts the entire business. By focusing on what we do well, and integrating with vendors like Duck Creek, insurers get the best of both worlds."
