Hiscox France to Leverage Prima Insure for Its Internet Distribution Platform [Health & Beauty Close – Up]

Prima Solutions, a software provider for the insurance industry, said that Hiscox France selected Prima Insure, its SaaS platform for insurance product distribution, and launched its first product within three months.

"Hiscox France needed a flexible platform to distribute and manage its products sold through its direct Internet channel such as professional indemnity insurance, employer's liability insurance, property insurance. After a review of the market, we selected the innovative offering of Prima Solutions. The Prima Insure platform, available in SaaS mode, allows us to setup our products online quickly, to provide our customers with an online rating, quoting and binding process and a personal space on the Internet to manage their contracts. It also offers our underwriters the management capabilities they need, all from one single software platform", said Stephane Flaquet, Hiscox Group IT Director.

Prima said that the Prima Insure platform is fully configurable and can be customized to suit the needs of all users: customers, distributors or underwriters. 100 percent web based, modular and available in SaaS mode, Prima Insure manages the key insurance business processes, from quoting to policy issuance, to financial collection, whether for P&C, Life or Savings products. Prima Insure is currently used either as a system for distribution and contract management, thereby replacing legacy systems, or as a set of independent modules to complement existing software applications.
