BillingCenter 3.0 brings enhanced billing and payment flexibility for all P&C lines of business
SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Guidewire Software®, a leading provider of flexible core systems to property/casualty insurers, today announced the availability of Guidewire BillingCenter® 3.0, the latest version of its comprehensive billing system for all lines of property/casualty insurance. BillingCenter is currently in production or in implementation at 22 insurers in several countries.
BillingCenter 3.0 offers:
- Flexible billing options, including: direct, agency, account current, group, list, mortgagee, and collection agency billing – all in one platform for all commercial and personal lines of business;
- Policy-level to account-level bill transitioning for improved customer service and reduced operating costs; and
- Improved producer satisfaction with detailed commission and multi-agency bill statements.
Other key enhancements include: charge groups for more control over the management of individual charges on a policy, ad hoc credits which allow the easy posting of a credit to an insured or other party’s account, and multi-payer/multi-location billing offers increased flexibility to insureds looking to divide premium due on their account across multiple payers.
While the industry has traditionally viewed billing as a back-office function, Guidewire BillingCenter enables insurers to move billing front and center; transforming the way insurers bill their policyholders with new levels of billing flexibility, visibility, and functional depth.
“BillingCenter 3.0 provides business value through improved customer retention, enhanced policyholder and producer relationships, and reduced operational costs,” Marcus Ryu, vice president, Strategy and Products, Guidewire Software commented. “In BillingCenter 3.0, insurers have a single system with which they can truly run their billing operations the way they envision. We continue to be very pleased with the industry’s adoption of BillingCenter.”
Guidewire BillingCenter is a comprehensive billing system for all lines of property/casualty insurance. BillingCenter is a flexible system designed to make it easier for insurers to automate the billing lifecycle; design flexible billing, payment and delinquency plans; manage agent commissions; and enable rapid integration with external payment systems.
