Guardian Adds Another Hire to Worksite Team

New Head of Enrollment Services is Latest Addition to Management Team as Guardian Expands Voluntary Business

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America (Guardian), one of the nation’s largest mutual life insurers and a leading provider of employee benefits, announced that Jeffrey Merrill has joined its Group Benefits team as National Manager, Enrollment Services. This is the second addition to Guardian’s Group Benefits management team in 2012 and follows continued enhancements to Guardian’s worksite offerings which will further position the voluntary business for continued growth.

Merrill will lead Guardian’s enrollment services efforts in the Worksite market. He brings more than 20 years of experience across all facets of the employee benefits industry, with roles spanning enrollment, sales, marketing and underwriting most recently at Unum and Sun Life Financial.
