Grand Jury hands down May indictments

May 23--The May term of the Grand Jury has handed down indictments to more than 50 people on a variety of charges.

Those indicted in Judge Eric O'Briant's court was:

14-F-41-0: Jessie Adams was indicted for delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance

14-F-42-0: James G. Ball was indicted for three counts fraud in connection with an access device, two counts breaking and entering and petit larceny.

14-F-43-0: Jason Ball was indicted for malicious assault.

14-F-44-0: Gary L. Belcher was indicted for delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance.

14-F-45-0: Gary Belcher was indicted for three counts delivery of a Schedule II controlled substance Roxycodone

14-F-46-0: Gary L. Belcher was indicted for nighttime burglary and grand larceny.

14-F-47-0: Justin Blair was indicted for nighttime burglary, attempted grand larceny, destruction of property, obstructing an officer/resisting arrest and felonious escape.

14-F-48-0: Allen Bradley was indicted for cultivation of marijuana.

14-F-49-0: Dashawn Brown was indicted for fraudulent scheme, two counts conspiracy, robbery in the first degree and destruction of property.

14-F-50-0: Mickey S. Caudill was indicted for three counts possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with intent to deliver, illegal possession of destructive device, explosive materials or incendiary devices, and two counts carrying a deadly weapon without license or other authorization.

14-F-51-0: Cassandra Cline was indicted for fraudulent scheme, conspiracy, and destruction of property.

14-F-52-0: Khrista Cook, aka Khrista Anne Frye, was indicted for grand larceny.

14-F-53-0: Gregory D. Copley was indicted for grand larceny and entering without breaking.

14-F-54-0: Timothy S. Davis was indicted for fraudulent scheme, two counts conspiracy, robbery in the first degree and destruction of property.

14-F-55-0: Richard Elkins was indicted for two counts grand larceny.

14-F-56-0: Hal Eplin was indicted for attempted daytime burglary and destruction of property.

14-F-57-0: Hal Eplin was indicted for daytime burglary, grand larceny and destruction of property.

14-F-58-0: Roger Ferguson was indicted for nighttime burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

14-F-59-0: Clifford Griffin was indicted for two counts possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance.

14-F-60-0: Jody Dale Hall was indicted for two counts failure to register or provide notice of registration changes.

14-F-61-0: Nicholas Scites was indicted for nighttime burglary and petit larceny.

14-F-62-0: James Simpson Jr. was indicted for two counts possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance with intent to deliver and three counts conspiracy.

14-F-63-0: Jeanna Smith was indicted for fraudulent scheme, two counts conspiracy, robbery in the first degree and destruction of property.

14-F-64-0: Richard Smoot was indicted for third or subsequent offense for DUI of alcohol, controlled substances or drugs, driving when license revoked or suspended for DUI of alcohol, controlled substances or drugs third or subsequent offense, fleeing in a vehicle, operation of a vehicle without registration, no insurance and obstructing an officer/resisting arrest.

14-F-65-0: Richard D. Smoot was indicted for three counts forgery, three counts identity theft, giving false information to DPS, driving when license revoked or suspended for DUI of alcohol, controlled substances or drugs third or subsequent offense, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, no insurance, no seatbelt, speeding and two counts obstructing an officer/resisting arrest.

14-F-66-0: Christopher Vance was indicted for nighttime burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit burglary, and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

14-F-67-0: Jeremy Walls was indicted for nighttime burglary and grand larceny.

14-F-68-0: Anthony Woolum Sr. was indicted for driving when license revoked or suspended for DUI of alcohol, controlled substances or drugs third offense and improper display of registration plate.

Indictments handed down in Judge Roger Perry's court will be published in the Sunday edition of The Logan Banner.
