Adds more than 60 business classes to Commercial Protector®
San Diego, CA - April 13, 2011 – Golden Eagle Insurance, a Liberty Mutual Agency Corporation regional company, today announced the expansion of its small commercial appetite with the addition of more than 60 business classes to its Commercial Protector BOP product.
The majority of the additional classes are in wholesale/retail, office, and medical office, but Golden Eagle Insurance is also introducing six new internet classes to accommodate retailers with on-premises inventories. A Limited Cyber Liability endorsement has also been added at no cost for all qualified Commercial Protector business classes. Optional limits of up to $100,000 for Employment Related Practices coverage are also available.
“These enhancements will help our agents place a wider variety of small commercial accounts with us,” said Mitsu Diley, vice president, Marketing. “We’re also making it easier for them by moving to low to no-touch policy issuance for a significant portion of our small commercial book.”
Commercial Protector is part of The Commercial Protector Series™, Golden Eagle Insurance’s portfolio of commercial lines products for small to mid-sized businesses, providing coverage for more than 1,100 classes. Commercial Protector is a competitively-priced, package product that provides broad property and liability coverage in a single policy for small business accounts with receipts up to $5 million per location. Popular endorsements include Property Extension, Liability Extension, and Employment Practices Liability.
Custom Protector® is available for small to mid-sized businesses with receipts up to $15 million per location. It offers more built-in coverages and expanded eligibility with optional market segment endorsements for the following twelve industries: condominiums; contractors; food processors; garages; hotels/motels; manufacturers; office/lessors; religious organizations; restaurants; retailers; service providers; and wholesalers. Split-rated property and liability coverages allow for price adjustments to match a customer’s specific exposure.
Golden Eagle Insurance also offers the Comprehensive Business Policy, a package policy designed for more complex middle-market accounts.
