GTESS Corporation Launches Advanced Claim Validation Technology

Payers See Higher Adjudication Rates; Lower Costs from new Validation Technology

RICHARDSON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GTESS Corporation today announced the availability of a new technology for its payer clients using The GTESS System™ for claim cleaning and validation. This technology, Advanced Claim Validation (ACV), was developed by GTESS engineers to facilitate data verification through automated problem diagnosis and resolution recommendations, based upon a client’s specific historical claim patterns. GTESS is demonstrating this technology at AHIP’s “Institute 2011,” healthcare’s annual industry conference, June 15-17, 2011.

“GTESS has been helping payers and TPAs increase accuracy and decrease costs of claim processing for more than 20 years, and we’ve invested significantly in perfecting core processes that drive improvements,” said John Christopherson, GTESS Chief Technology Officer. “Since the introduction of Advanced Claim Validation, GTESS has delivered more efficient exception processing and higher levels of quality – improvements that drive the turnaround time and cost reductions that all healthcare organizations strive for,” he said.

About Advanced Claim Validation technology

GTESS’ unique Advanced Claim Validation technology combines standard business rules with 29 different industry data sources and details of a client’s past claim history to create customized instructions for each claim, identifying and flagging issues and potential resolutions for handling by GTESS data verification personnel. By automatically reviewing a client’s past claim histories, Advanced Claim Validation is able to offer accurate correction suggestions to data verification teams, ensuring that each claim is handled as quickly and efficiently as possible, while customizing the issue review process for each client.
