California Uniform Insurance Card and VIN decoding among many new features

DARIEN , CT , March 1, 2004 – FergTech, Inc., a leader in automobile insurance compliance software and services announced today the release of the updated and enhanced version of AutoIDweb, its flagship product for producing Auto ID Cards.  AutoIDweb is a Web service that provides fast, standards-based integration to applications that require the ability to produce Auto ID Cards.   The new version of AutoIDweb extends the capabilities of AutoIDweb in many areas including data input and validation, output grouping and sorting, compliance updates, and User customization.

• Lessor information printed in addition to Named Insured/Registrant
• Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) validation and decoding of Year, Make, and Model to ease and improve accuracy of data-entry
• Issuing Insurance Company lookup prefills Company Name and state-specific  Company numbers
• Print output sorting (State, VIN, Internal Vehicle ID, Mailing Location)
• Custom Card Message - customized text can now appear on ID Cards
• Automatic card quantity determined by vehicle’s registration state
