Electro Industries’ Shark® MP200 High Density Meter Declared EC&M 2014 Metering Category Winner
| PR Newswire Association LLC |
The Product of the Year award recognizes outstanding design and utility for products released in 2013. This year 200 entries were received. Winning the Metering & Monitoring Equipment Category affirms the uniqueness and excellence of the MP200 Metering System. This metering system, the latest addition to the award-winning Shark® family of meters, consolidates up to 24 metering points in one CPU, offering 0.5% Class accuracy on all circuits. It offers a choice of RS485, wired Ethernet or 802.11 WiFi for ease of connectivity. WiFi security uses the latest encryption methods to insure secure communication.
Its multi-circuit design saves both mounting space and installation time and makes connection to multiple loads both easy and highly cost effective. Using EIG's software solutions with the MP200 Metering System, it is easy to trend Energy and other commodity usage; generate reports to analyze the data; compare usage for different customer locations, billing periods, and meters; and generate customer billing.
The Category winners will be spotlighted in a printed tabloid showcase scheduled to mail with the April issue of EC&M and the May issue of Electrical Wholesaling, and will go on to compete for the 2014 Product of the Year Platinum, Gold, and Silver awards, determined through an upcoming online readers' poll, and announced in the August issue of EC&M.
