Duck Creek Technologies Expands Executive Team
Industry veterans Larry Axon and Sean Murphy join Duck Creek to lead the company’s growing development and services teams
Bolivar, MO, July 6, 2005 - Duck Creek Technologies, Inc., a leading developer of rating and policy administration software for the insurance industry, today announced that Larry Axon and Sean Murphy have joined the Duck Creek executive team to lead the company’s strong and continually growing development and services teams.
Larry Axon joins the company as Vice President of Engineering, with responsibility for the development and maintenance of the entire Duck Creek software product family, including the EXAMPLE Platform® software suite and the Commercial Lines Templates. Mr. Axon will also define the company’s architectural vision and oversee its implementation, continuing to drive the Duck Creek product suite to new levels.
Mr. Axon brings over 20 years of experience to Duck Creek, having been a software technology executive in the healthcare, technology, distribution, and warehousing industries. Most recently, Mr. Axon worked as an independent consultant, serving as interim CIO for several corporations, as well as forming and operating a new IT department for a healthcare organization.
Sean Murphy joins Duck Creek as Vice President of Services, and has assumed responsibility for building and managing the rapidly-growing Services team which provides product consulting, technical consulting, and training services. Mr. Murphy will also continue to refine Duck Creek's Implementation Methodology, with the goal of continuous improvement of Duck Creek Services.
Mr. Murphy comes to Duck Creek with over 12 years of experience in the business and technology consulting industry, most recently as a Senior Director - PeopleSoft Finance Service Line Leader with Miami-based Answerthink Consulting.
