Devon Health Services Names Health Insurance Veteran George E. Bennett as New President

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Devon Health Services Inc., a national healthcare cost management company and the largest privately-owned Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) in the Northeast United States, has announced George E. Bennett as its new president.

Mr. Bennett has over 40 years of business experience in the healthcare industry. He has helped lead some of the nation’s largest healthcare companies, including United, Cigna, and Humana, and served as president of First Health, a wholly owned subsidiary of Coventry Health Care that provides national PPO network access and other cost containment programs. Mr. Bennett will shape strategy for both Devon Health Services and Consilium, the company’s healthcare cost containment and out-of-network claims negotiation division.
