Delphi Technology Appoints Bill Moss President of US Operations and Chief Operating Officer of Delphi Technology, Inc.

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Delphi Technology, Inc., a leading provider of technology solutions to the insurance and risk management industries, today announced it has appointed Bill Moss as President of US Operations and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Delphi Technology, Inc., effective July 1, 2009. Joining Delphi Technology in 2008, Bill initially served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, bringing more than 20 years of experience in driving growth at high-tech companies. Bill succeeds Sam Fang, who will transition to the role of President of Delphi Technology, Shanghai and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Delphi Technology, Inc.

In making this decision, Sam Fang stated: "Bill’s exemplary performance over the past year as our Vice President of Sales and Marketing, combined with his proven global experience and outstanding leadership abilities made him the ideal choice for Delphi Technology’s new President. As I complete the transition of my duties as President to Bill over the next few months, I look forward to continuing to help drive Delphi Technology’s strategy and growth in my role as Delphi Technology’s CEO.”

“Over the past year, it has become evident that Bill and I share a common set of corporate values when dealing with clients and employees, as well as being closely aligned in our vision for Delphi Technology. This common vision and our ability to communicate openly about the company’s strategic direction gives me complete confidence that Delphi Technology will continue to grow as we expand into new markets,” continued Fang.

“Bill brings a proven and impressive track record in driving business growth, effectively selling enterprise-level systems, and building and deploying mission-critical software solutions," said Fang. "Bill’s experience, discipline, and broad and deep skill set are ideally suited to the opportunities and challenges as we continue to implement our aggressive growth strategy for Delphi Technology."

Bill Moss commented, "I am delighted to have this opportunity at such an exciting stage in Delphi Technology’s growth. The company’s core medical professional liability business has a 15-year history of technical strength and market success; complemented by the company’s successful expansion into other professional liability, workers’ compensation, reinsurance, and claims management markets. I am excited to help lead Delphi Technology to the next level of growth and profitability."

Prior to joining Delphi Technology, Bill was the General Manager of High Volume Pharmacy Systems at NDCHealth and Per-Se Technologies, where he established HVPS as the premier application solution provider to high volume / mail order pharmacies, serving a wide range of retail, ePharmacy, PBM, Hospital and Fortune 100 clients. Under Bill’s leadership, HVPS transitioned into a state of rapid growth and profitability, resulting in annual increases of more than 200% in recurring transaction-based revenues and the eventual acquisition by McKesson Corporation. Bill’s previous experience includes executive, sales and engineering management positions at companies such as TechRx Incorporated, AMS Corporation, Primavera Systems, Revive Technologies, Structural Dynamics Research Corporation and Hazeltine Corporation. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Lehigh University and a Juris Doctorate from the Rutgers University School of Law.
