Fire Suppression & Fire Extinguisher Service The Brooklyn Job Corps Academy is soliciting bids for someone to service our Fire Suppression System and Fire Extinguishers. The Brooklyn Job Corps Academy is a federally funded vocational and educational training program for youth. The program is open year round with approximately 165 trainees. The Brooklyn Job Corps is a satellite center of the South Bronx Job Corps and it is operated by ResCare, Inc. for the US Department of Labor. SCOPE OF WORK: To perform a FULL FUNCTION TEST (FDNY Applicable Section of Law 904.11) to our UL300 Fire Systems located in our Culinary Arts Lab and Cafeteria. Below you will find the Equipment that needs to be serviced.

Culinary Kitchen: Type: UL300 Fire System Mfg.: Ansul Model: R-102 3GX6 (S/S) Location: 2nd Floor; Culinary Arts Lab Year of Mfg.: 2000 Serial#: FD# 967/00 Main Kitchen: Type: UL300 Fire System Mfg.: Range Guard Model: RG 4GM(KG)/2.5G(KG) Location: 2nd Floor Cafeteria Year of Mfg.: 2005 Serial#: FD# 1554/05

Service for this should be done twice a month. Replacement parts are not to be included in this agreement.

We also are looking for you to perform annual testing on our Fire Extinguishers. We have 34 Fire Extinguishers on center.

Coverage Periods will be from the date the contract is approved until March 31, 2015.

REQUIREMENTS: * Must be in compliance with all Local, State and Federal Guidelines and Regulations * Work to be accomplished in safe and efficient manner with minimal or no disruption or endangerment to trainees and/or staff. * Must provide a copy of current licensure and insurance * Must be registered on the SAM.gov Website * Must complete Vendor Packet. Which consists of the following items: * New Vendor Form. Fill out to entire form accordingly. DUNS SECTION IS A PRIORITY. * W-9 Form * Non-Conflict of Interest * Terms & Conditions and * Anti-Bribery Form - Sign Approval box.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ACCEPTANCE: * Contractor must acknowledge by signature that they meet all Federal, State, Local and OSHA regulations and that all specifications terms and conditions set forth are acceptable. * Bidders must submit their proposal in a sealed envelope by 5 p.m. close of business on October 22, 2014 to the attention Barbara Kimbrough, Purchasing Agent.

The following documents Davis Bacon Act (40 U 27a Attachment B), Certification of Non-Segregated Facilities Pursuant to FAR 52.222-21 (Attachment C), Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Requirement Pursuant to FAR 52.222-26 and FAR 52.222-27, FAR 52.252-2, 52.204-1, 52.215-19, PRC 4121 and 4170 will be incorporated and made part of agreement.
