CNA Corp. Names Donald G. DeBuck Chief Financial Officer

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 26 -- CNA issued the following news release:
The CNA Corporation has appointed Donald G. DeBuck to serve as the not-for-profit research and analysis organization's Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President, and Treasurer. Reporting to Robert Murray, CNA Corp. President and CEO, DeBuck will assume his duties at CNA on March 3, 2014.
"Don is a deeply experienced financial executive. We undertook a very thorough search effort and we're pleased to have him join our leadership team as our new CFO," said Murray.
DeBuck has more than 20 years of experience as a senior finance executive and was formerly corporate vice president and Controller at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), a global IT services Fortune 200 company. He has operated in a complex global operating environment with a full range of global commercial clients, as well as the U.S. Government.
DeBuck earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and his Master of Business Administration from George Washington University.
As CFO, DeBuck will be responsible for all financial and contractual operations of the CNA Corporation. He will manage the strategic planning, implementation, and management of CNA's accounting; budgeting; financial planning, reporting, systems development, and operations; treasury functions; and contract administration and procurement. He will also oversee the annual consolidated budget, monthly forecasting, and analysis.
