Bystanders ignore Oklahoma City police officer’s pleas for help during confrontation [The Oklahoman, Oklahoma City]

The man pushed the officer with his elbow in an attempt to flee, according to a police incident report.
At that point, the officer, Sgt.
Brewer was unable to hold the suspect and hit an emergency button and call for backup.
He then yelled out for help to customers in a nearby fast food restaurant, who ignored him, Brewer wrote in a police report. The man fled as Brewer reached for his radio to call for backup. The man was caught by other officers nearby.
Police reported two large baggies of marijuana were found in the vehicle the man was driving.
