Body Well Therapy Invites Massage Therapists Nationwide to “Bring Your Own Insurance Clients”

Fort Lauderale, FL (PRWEB)
Body Well Therapy (BWT) today announced that it is accepting referrals of insurance patients seeking massage therapy in all 44 states that officially sanction therapeutic massage. The company provides an option for Licensed Massage Therapists who do not otherwise bill insurance on their own to refer these patients to BWT. Should a patient request a specific qualified therapist, including the one who made the referral, BWT can then contract the therapist to provide therapeutic massage services for a pre-set guaranteed rate per session.
"This is an amazing opportunity for Massage Therapists who would like to earn more income by working with insurance patients," remarked
At this time, BWT primarily accepts injury-related insurance claims including auto injury claims, workman's compensation claims and some "slip and fall" injuries where medical benefits are readily available. The company is not able to process any PPO,
When a new patient is referred to BWT by a Massage Therapist, the company administers the patient exactly the same as if the patient had come to BWT directly. All necessary paperwork, prescriptions, communications with the insurance company, authorizations, records, billings and collections are managed. If a patient wishes to request a specific qualified therapist not already under contract with BWT, including but not limited to the one who made the referral, BWT will seek to contract and assign the requested therapist to accommodate the patient.
Once a new patient is set up and ready to begin treatment, BWT will authorize a therapist to perform a set number of sessions within a given time frame, and guarantees, via an Independent Contractor Agreement, that all sessions will be paid at a pre-determined standard flat rate within ten business days from the date of service. Fees paid to contractors are not in any way tied to compensation from an insurance company or other payor.
In accordance with state and federal patient-brokering, anti-kickback and other related laws which have been carefully studied to ensure compliance, BWT cannot prohibit a patient from requesting an alternative therapist at any time regardless of the referral source, provides no special consideration to the referring therapist, and offers no bonus or other benefit in exchange for any referral.
