BRIEF: Damage reported from two-car crash [The Jamestown Sun, N.D.]

Sept. 27--More than $7,000 damage occurred from a car-vehicle accident Wednesday, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The accident happened at 3:05 p.m. at the intersection of Sixth Street and Fourth Avenue Southeast.

Violet Porterfield, 83, Dickinson, N.D.</location>, was driving a 2005 Toyota car eastbound on Sixth Street at the intersection with Fourth Avenue.

Delonna McClean, 32, 309 Seventh St. SE, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet vehicle northbound on Fourth Avenue approaching the intersection with Sixth Street.

The police said Porterfield disobeyed a yield sign, pulled into the intersection and struck the vehicle McClean was driving.

Both drivers wore seat belts and neither was injured.

Porterfield was cited for disobeying a yield sign.

McClean was cited for driving without liability insurance on a motor vehicle and for driving without a valid operator's license.
