BRIEF: Clemmons man faces drug charges after a traffic stop

June 06--WINSTON-SALEM -- A Clemmons man faces drug charges after a traffic stop for a revoked license plate, according to a Davidson County Sheriff's Office news release.

Deputies found 11 grams of marijuana in a Dodge Neon operated by Ishaun Levon Fair, 22, of 230 Joe Hege Road. He is charged with: felony possession with intent to manufacture; sell, and deliver marijuana; felony maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance; and Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the release.

He is being held at the Davidson County Jail on $10,000 bail. Fair is scheduled to appear in court on June 27, according to the release.

Deputies stopped Fair's car Wednesday on Old U.S. Highway 52 at Arrowood Drive because the car had a revoked license plate, and the driver didn't have liability insurance, according to the release. During a search of the car, deputies found the marijuana, digital scale and plastic bags, according to the release.
