BRIEF: 1 in jail after 2-vehicle accident [St. Cloud Times, Minn.]

Dec. 19--St. Cloud police were dispatched Sunday morning to Fifth Avenue North and First Street North for a two-vehicle collision.

Officers, called about 6:20 a.m., found that a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Jeremy Drinnin of St. Cloud was struck by a vehicle being driving by Seairra Jayne Farber, 23, as he traveled east on First Street North, according to a police report.

Their investigation revealed Farber had driven through a red light, striking Drinnin's vehicle on the passenger side.

Officers also found Farber had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.10, according to the police report; the legal limit in Minnesota is 0.08.

Both parties involved in the accident were transported to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Farber was taken to Stearns County Jail in connection with felony criminal vehicular operation, gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI, semaphore violation and having no proof of insurance.
