Ascension Insurance, Inc. Appoints Miles Gurley Commerical Account Executive

Ascension Insurance, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Miles Gurley to the position of Commercial Account Executive in the company’s Greensboro, NC office. Ascension is a leading insurance brokerage and consulting firm specializing in risk management, property & casualty and employee benefits solutions for businesses and individuals.

In his new position, Gurley will be responsible for developing insurance and loss control solutions for clients in the construction and motor sports industries. Gurley has nearly 10 years of experience in these specialized industries and is a Certified Builders Insurance Agent (CBIA). He has coordinated insurance and bonding programs for construction and construction related industries, including risk reduction through coordination of safety and OSHA programs and training. Prior to joining Ascension he worked as an account executive at an insurance brokerage firm in High Point, NC.

According to Jonathan Cooper, Ascension Eastern Region Managing Director, Gurley’s appointment is part of an overall effort to further expand the firm’s expertise in specialized markets. “Miles brings exceptional expertise, experience and leadership in the Construction, Motorsports and Surety markets. Gurley earned his Bachelor of Science from Catawba College and is a member of the Thomasville Area and High Point Area Chamber of Commerce. He is also member of the National Association of Home Builders as well as a member of numerous area Home Builders Associations including Greensboro, High Point Area, Winston Salem, and North Carolina. Gurley is currently President of the Mental Health Associates of the Triad.
