2) Question: Has a contractor performed similar work to this for the Government in the past If available, please provide the incumbent contract number. Answer: There is no incumbent for HVAC maintenance or repair work. Therefore, no contract number or information to provide.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number RFQ-KS-14-00006 is applicable and is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. The requirement is "small business set-aside" with a NAICS Code of 238220 (Plumbing, heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors) and a size standard in millions of dollars
1. Purchase and installation of heat pump for existing HVAC system at the Region 10, Laboratory, in
Products/services must meet specifications. If proposing equal, please document your quote with evidence of this fact and submit an alternative model that is equal to the requirements specified. You must include any available descriptive literature. Please specify the brand that will be used.
The Government intends to make award on an "all or none" basis. The selection resulting from this request for quotation will be made on the basis of the lowest priced, technically acceptable quote from a responsible quoter with the ability to service the HVAC system within the period of performance:
