Allianz Life Promotes Jason Wellmann to Senior Vice President of Life Insurance Sales
Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz) today named Jason Wellmann as the new senior vice president of Life Insurance Sales. In this role, Wellmann will be responsible for leading Allianz life insurance strategy through all distribution channels.

Jason's wealth of experience will be crucial in developing and driving our life insurance sales strategy going forward."
Wellmann joined Allianz earlier this year as vice president of Branch Office Development, working closely with Questar Capital, a division of Allianz Life, and its branch office managers at each Allianz Distribution Group (wholly-owned) Field Marketing Office (FMO) to maximize recruiting and sales development efforts. He also worked closely with each FMO to help maximize its life insurance sales. Prior to joining Allianz, Wellmann spent five years with Securian Financial Group as vice president of Field Recruitment. He grew life distribution by recruiting broker/dealers, independent agents, career agents and Brokerage General Agencies. He has also held other sales leadership roles with Jefferson Pilot and Prudential before joining Securian.
Wellmann attended Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minn. where he majored in Speech Communications and minored in Business Administration. He has his Series 7, 6, 24 and 63 licenses and is involved with many industry organizations, including GAMA, AALU, and NAIFA.
