Ronnell Nolan has nearly 20 years of experience as a trade association lobbyist. After spending several years as the contract lobbyist for the Louisiana Association of Health Underwriters and the president/CEO of the Nolan Group, a bipartisan governmental affairs firm, she helped to launch HAFA as the voice for the independent, non-captive health insurance agent.
Marcy Buckner is senior vice president of government affairs with the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals. In this role, Marcy manages the association’s government affairs team, including the monitoring of activities of all state legislatures, insurance departments, and intergovernmental organizations to coordinate efforts to advance the interests of professional health insurance producers.
