Man dies in fight outside Valley of the Moon center

Sheriff's officials said
An autopsy is scheduled for next week to determine the manner and cause of death. The Sheriff's report does not mention a weapon used in the fight. Sheriff's investigators could not be reached for comment on Saturday.
"One punch, that's what I heard," he said.
"I'm sad. He was a friend," she said, declining to elaborate about Perez.
It was not clear Saturday afternoon what started the fight or even whether Perez and Gonzalez knew each other. Though the fight took place in front of the teen center, the two men had not been at the facility Friday evening, according to a visitors log.
"The ages of the men suggest to me that the fight was unlikely to be related to the facility," he said.
The Valley of the Moon Teen Center sits just feet from busy
Residents and workers in the neighborhood said gang activity has become common in the area, but violent crime is unheard of.
"We get burglaries and stuff like that," said resident
"That's kind of scary," she said. "You usually just see kids hanging out outside the teen center."
