A fitness business between the two locations was not broken into.
Stacey said police believe the break-in started at Farmers, where someone appeared to rifle through drawers.
Motion detectors in Stacey's business went off and likely deterred the person, or people, from taking more than they did. One pair of glasses was found outside the door -- likely dropped as they fled.
Freeman said the businesses deposits money from its registers daily, so no money was taken.
