SBLI Congratulates Techficient CEO and 2025 NAILBA ID Twenty Award Winner, Todd Ruplinger
Bold Vision Combined with Bold Action.
SBLI congratulates Todd Ruplinger, CEO of Techficient, on winning the ID Twenty award at the NAILBA 44 conference in Dallas, Texas last week. Nominated by Wade Seward, Chief Distribution Officer of SBLI, this recognition comes as SBLI and Techficient partnered over the last year to reinvent how SBLI delivers insurance solutions to distribution partners.
SBLI recently launched its EasyTrak and OmniTrak term life insurance products, powered by the Techficient platform, a cutting-edge chassis that leverages predictive analytics, fraud detection, and data-driven underwriting. This evolution enables SBLI to provide a modern, digital experience that helps life insurance professionals expand their customer base, increase their effectiveness, and help clients acquire coverage more quickly while benefiting from a modern purchasing experience.
The ID Twenty award celebrates “innovators, change-makers, and trailblazers” within the independent distribution community and Todd and the Techficient team are emblematic of how that vision is executed within the industry. SBLI applauds Todd and all ID Twenty winners who have shown their commitment to advancing independent distribution and helping more people gain the financial protection they need.

SBLI brings EasyTrak and OmniTrak to market to help agents get more clients the coverage they need.
SBLI recently introduced a new application and submission process for its EasyTrak and OmniTrak Term life insurance products to meet today’s consumer demand for faster and more convenient purchasing experiences.
EasyTrak Term: a 2025 Product for a 2025 Customer
Serving its mission to help people gain the financial protection they need, SBLI brought its EasyTrak Term to financial professionals earlier this year. EasyTrak provides a modern, seamless purchasing experience that delivers instant decisions in under 45 seconds and an instant ability to tailor coverage after underwriting to perfectly suit client needs. With a quote-to-issue time averaging just nine minutes, EasyTrak delivers the near-instant gratification that today’s consumer market expects and demands.
Introducing OmniTrak: One Platform, Three Pathways
Launched in October, OmniTrak delivers the ability to insure more people by offering three underwriting pathways – instant decision, accelerated underwriting, and traditional underwriting. With the Techficient platform, applicants are automatically guided to the most efficient experience possible. OmniTrak uses an innovative field underwriting platform enabling advisors to provide more accurate quoting and better placement rates. In addition, agents are also experiencing higher instant approval rates on the new platform.
A Frictionless, Digital Experience
Both EasyTrak and OmniTrak are powered by the Techficient platform, supporting the entire process from quote to policy issue. The result is a modern, digital experience designed to help life insurance professionals expand their customer base, increase effectiveness, and better serve clients with the convenience and frictionless experience that clients expect when making purchasing decisions in 2025.
This evolution brings SBLI to the forefront of both agent and policy-owner preferences when going through the process of buying life insurance. Agents now have full control over the entire quoting and application experience while benefiting from the flexibility to collaborate with their clients as desired. Clients in turn expect a process that is consistent with how they do business in other aspects of their lives including completing purchases when they want, where they want, and how they want, such as by text or voice.
Committed to Innovation and Simplicity
“SBLI is committed to not only making innovative products like EasyTrak and OmniTrak Term life insurance solutions, but more importantly, we’re dedicated to making the process of selling and buying life insurance easier for everyone involved,” said Wade Seward, SBLI senior vice president and chief distribution officer. “We are passionate about offering agencies and financial professionals new ways that make their businesses more efficient while ensuring more of their clients get the financial peace of mind they deserve.”
A Partnership to Watch
SBLI and Techficient’s shared dedication to modernizing the life insurance process and expanding protection availability makes their partnership one to watch. “We look forward to continuing our partnership with Techficient and transforming the SBLI product suite to deliver a best-in-class experience that helps more people obtain the financial protection they need,” said Wade Seward, SBLI Senior Vice President and Chief Distribution Officer.
