SIMON Markets LLC Partners with Insurance Technologies to Leverage Core Annuity Technology Capabilities in Its Cloud-Based End-to-End Investment Platform

COLORADO SPRINGS, MARCH 31, 2020 – Insurance Technologies, LLC, a provider of sales and regulatory automation solutions for the insurance and financial services industries, is pleased to announce its partnership with SIMON Markets LLC and SIMON Annuities and Insurance Services LLC (SIMON), a cloud-based platform provider delivering end-to-end, risk-managed product solutions to investment professionals. SIMON has integrated with Insurance Technologies to give financial advisors the ability to run illustrations on the annuity products in SIMON’s Marketplace and, ultimately, submit electronic applications to carriers, directly from the SIMON platform. The partnership underscores both firms’ commitment to delivering seamless, cloud-based connectivity to advisors serving clients in today’s digital world.

Daniel Spector, SIMON’s Head of Client Integration, commented, “SIMON is focused on providing investment professionals with fully integrated digital solutions. By partnering with Insurance Technologies, we’re turning manual and time-intensive workflows into a simplified process, centralized in one location. Together, we’re empowering advisors—delivering new tools with greater efficiency, and the differentiation they seek to provide holistic services to their clients.”

Scott Beshany, Chief Distribution Officer of SIMON, added, “SIMON’s launch of our insurance solutions platform last year was our first step to address the need for advanced technology and a user-friendly experience for annuities in the wealth management market. We’re excited to partner with Insurance Technologies to deliver streamlined connectivity for investment professionals on the SIMON platform.”

Insurance Technologies FireLight® Illustration solution allows advisors on SIMON’s platform to leverage SIMON’s powerful analytics and immediately generate annuity product illustrations to share with clients. This integration enables advisors to better meet the financial planning and retirement needs of clients from a single platform.

“When SIMON came to us looking for a seamless way to integrate illustrations on their investment platform, we knew our solution was a perfect fit. By implementing FireLight, SIMON now offers advisors a new capability that was not previously available to the market and new product solutions for their clients—providing a win-win for the industry,” commented Doug Massey, EVP of sales and relationship management at Insurance Technologies. “By incorporating robust illustration analytics, this partnership expands the broad suite of annuity solutions already available on SIMON. The beauty of this is how the illustrations are fully integrated into the SIMON platform, enabling advisors to access what are otherwise disconnected workflows from a single location. It’s a great example of how our clients' products are expanding into new distribution channels."
