Laser Image Debuts First of Its Kind Mobile App, Shaking Up the Insurance Industry

New mobile business solution FastApp™ is set to revolutionize the insurance sales process with its seamless mobile application.

DALLAS, TX - February 4, 2014— Laser Image, the premier lead and data management software developer, today announced the release of FastApp™, a first-of-its-kind mobile application that accelerates the selling process, saving time and reducing errors. With FastApp™ insurance agents can complete the entire insurance application process accurately and securely using their mobile tablet while with the applicant.

The business world is moving at a faster pace than ever before and there is tremendous growth expected over the next few years in mobile devices, specifically tablets. Analyst Gartner predicted worldwide tablet rollouts to grow 53.4 percent in 2013 and that overall, world-wide combined shipments of devices—PCs, tablets, ultramobiles and mobile phones—are projected to reach 2.5 billion units in 2014.

Understanding this, Barbara Morris, Laser Image CEO saw an opportunity in the insurance market. “We designed our new mobile app to securely close business in a single session and with a flexible framework so the app can be customized to meet any business requirements in the insurance industry and beyond,” Morris explains.

FastApp™’s streamlined application process auto-fills information whenever possible and ensures the application is in good order (IGO) at the time of submission which improves processing time and accuracy. E-signatures, credit card acceptance and check scanning completes sales on the spot via safe signature platforms like DocUsign. And, to ensure security, data is not saved on the tablet but sent to and from the mobile device via a secure transmission using several layers of data encryption.

Additional app features include a rate calculator to provide instant insurance quotes, the flexibility to work on multiple applications and forms at once, and a marketing collateral hub for training and marketing purposes.

“By getting rid of the paper process and equipping agents with a simplified and fully loaded mobile selling solution like FastApp™, they will be able to close more sales in a shorter amount of time while substantially reducing operating costs for the company,” said Morris.
