Jocelyn Ivancic of JII Inc. (Ft. Wayne) Enthusiastically Endorses The Safe Money Places™ Agent Network!
Ft. Wayne, IN - April 29, 2014- Though her recent knee-replacement surgery caused Jocelyn Ivancic to miss the recent Safe Money Places™ Agent Network Expo in Indianapolis, the 27-year veteran in the insurance business says, “It (missing the meeting) hasn’t dampened my enthusiasm one bit! I simply love the ‘safe money’ concepts and philosophy – it’s what I’ve been teaching my clients for more than twenty-five years in this business.” Ivancic is referring to the Safe Money Places™ emphasis on making sure the customer understands the difference between ‘safe money places’ and ‘risk money places.’
“Even though I was unable to get to Indianapolis for the Expo,” she adds, “I had the opportunity to speak directly with the Safe Money folks down there who gave me a thorough explanation of what was covered at the meeting. That’s another thing I love about the Network – it really is like a family but with the added strength of a national organization.” She also cites the Safe Money Places™ philosophy as “going hand in hand” with her expertise in Estate Planning. “That’s why Safe Money investments are so important to me – to help me help my clients plan for their retirement years.”
Jocelyn also points to the Safe Money Places™ owner, Raymond J. Ohlson, CLU, CRC, and to the founder, Dr. Jack Marrion’s persistent, though never annoying, practice of “making sure all of us are well-informed, up-to-date, and schooled on how to explain to our clients all of the changes in the financial services business that occur each month in simple, clear language. They don’t just give us the tools; they show us how to use them to help our clients make the right decisions. It’s hard work, but it’s worth it!”
And Jocelyn is no stranger to hard work. She began working at age 11 for five years as a cook’s assistant! Later, she spent twenty years working at International Harvester, resigning her position as Program Planning Manager to start her new career in the insurance industry over a quarter of a century ago. And during all of this activity, she raised a family!
“There’s just no substitute for hard work,” she explains. “It sounds pretty basic, pretty obvious, but I’ve met people from all walks of life who expect it (success) to be handed to them. Not me! My clients know they can call me anytime from anywhere – even if I’m on vacation – and I’ll take their call personally. I empathize with them; I know how frustrating it can be to need an answer and not be able to reach the right person, sometimes even late at night. It’s also why I publish a newsletter, present workshops, and why I joined the Safe Money Places™ Agent Network. Access is everything. Many of my older clients depend on me to help them make critical retirement planning decisions, and my philosophy is, ‘What I do for them is what I would do for my Dad.’ He raised six kids by himself, so we learned what hard work meant at an early age!”
Safe Money Places™, originally founded by Dr. Jack Marrion, a nationally recognized author and public speaker, who maintains a strong relationship with the company, and Raymond J. Ohlson, CLU, CRC, the President and CEO of The Ohlson Group, Inc. and Safe Money Places™, welcomed a couple of dozen current and new members of the Network to the firm’s national headquarters in Carmel, Indiana, in March. According to Ohlson, “Even though Jocelyn couldn’t make the Expo, just working with her over the past years has shown us how committed she is to her clients and to our Safe Money mission. Jocelyn is simply ‘sensational!’ As we continue to grow the Safe Money concept throughout the country, we are looking for agents just like her to join our Safe Money family.”
Jocelyn also points to the consumer-oriented websites (www.safemoneyplaces.com and www.safemoneynews.com) as examples of how her affiliation is going to help her existing clients from all over the Ft. Wayne area acquire this valuable information. “All of my clients have access to the Safe Money consumer websites which are packed with wonderful, useful information on ‘safe concepts’ in all areas of life not just financial.” Jocelyn has workshops scheduled for May and June, so contact her for more information directly at: 260-489-5500 or email her at [email protected].
