Woodbridge Insurance Services Partners with StreetLight Community Outreach Ministries in Charity Drive to Benefit Homeless Families

PR Web

Woodbridge, VA (PRWEB) February 16, 2017

Woodbridge Insurance Services, a DC-area agency offering asset protection services and financial planning assistance to families and business owners throughout the region, is embarking on a charity drive in conjunction with StreetLight Community Outreach Ministries with the aim of raising support for low income families.

StreetLight Community Outreach Ministries has worked to alleviate hunger and homelessness in the greater Woodbridge area for more than a decade. Embracing a mission of community improvement through compassion and caring, StreetLight Community outreach Ministries has improved the quality of life of a growing number of regional underprivileged families, including many considered to be "chronically homeless."

"StreetLight Ministries is an important organization that has done much to help alleviate suffering in our community, and we believe they have earned the support of all the families in our area," says Joseph Cotton, founder and executive manager of Woodbridge Insurance Services.

Promotion of the StreetLight Community Outreach Ministries charity event will include a focused effort to gather support from local social media forums as well as the implementation of an email update bulletin to keep community leaders informed. In addition, Woodbridge Insurance is planning the release of a full length feature article on the event for publication in the agency's online magazine "Our Hometown": http://www.woodbridgeins.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.

A growing number of charitable organizations serving northern Virginia have received promotion assistance from Woodbridge Insurance Services over recent months. As members of the national "Agents of Change" charity support initiative, the Woodbridge team plans to continue their policy of assisting a new regional charity every other month.

All those who would like to help support the charity event benefitting StreetLight Community Outreach Ministries are personally invited by the Woodbridge Insurance team to join the cause by visiting this page: http://www.woodbridgeins.com/Lets-Lend-a-Helping-Hand-to-Local-Families-in-Need_15_community_cause. More information on previous charity events hosted by Woodbridge Insurance Services can be reviewed from the agency's Community Causes page: http://www.woodbridgeins.com/community-cause.
