Who are the Best of Springfield winners?

Springfield News-Sun (Ohio)

Nov. 5--The Best of Springfield award winners have been announced -- highlighting the community's favorite food, businesses, services and destinations.

Winners were selected from 39 different categories by community members.

Despite the pandemic, Camaren Sloan, Chamber Convention and Visitors Bureau events manager, said the voting for the Best of Springfield Awards was similar to past years and still had a decent turnout. Some of the best feedback is when people see the Best of list and discover new things.

"People enjoy being exposed to local businesses and supporting them," Sloan told the News-Sun. "Some people will try out a new entity because it won. It's a friendly competition."

The awards, sponsored by Mercy Health, were presented last week through a live streaming event presented by Clark Schaefer Hackett. The event included a performance by The American Landscape, a cooking demo with Speakeasy Ramen and a cocktail mixology session with the Market Bar.

The 2020 Best of Springfield Awards is a program presented by the Chamber of Greater Springfield.
