WEST BEND — West Bend Mutual Insurance (WBMI) announced on Monday that they have been named to Ward’s 50 list of top-performing companies for 2023.
The Ward Group’s Top 50 group includes the best industry performers of U.S.-domiciled property-casualty insurance companies and life-health insurance companies. When compiling the list, Ward Group looks at key safety and consistency measurements and performance tests for nearly 4,000 total insurance companies.
"Ward’s 50 identifies companies that pass financial stability requirements and measure their ability to grow while maintaining strong capital positions and underwriting results," said the release. "To be awarded the designation, companies must pass minimum thresholds of performance."
According to the release, WBMI was recognized for their outstanding performance in safety, consistency and performance over a five-year period (2018-2022), and it is the 10th consecutive year the company has been included in the Ward’s 50 list.
"Our consistent appearance on Ward’s 50 list is a testament to our associates for their outstanding performance and independent agents who represent West Bend," stated WBMI President Rob Jacques in the release. "We’re honored to again join the ranks of other top property and casualty insurers in the nation."
