ABC 23 (Altoona, PA)

HOMELESS ENCAMPMENTS TO SOARING HOME INSURANCE PRICES IN KENTUCKY. WE ARE TAKING THE PULSE OF AMERICA, BUT WE START IN TEXAS. WHERE RANCHES DESTROYED BY WILDFIRES COULD LEAD TO MORE EXPENSIVE PRICES.

>>RIGHT NOW THEY'RE HAULING IN HAY TO FEED THEM. WHAT CATTLE I HAVE LAUGHED WHEN GRASS IS GONE FROM FIRE? RANCHERS HAVE TO TURN TO HAITI TO FEED LIVESTOCK FELLOW RANCHERS FROM NEIGHBORING. STATES ARE VOLUNTEERING TO HELP AS HAY FEED AND FENCING SUPPLIES ARE NEEDED TO HELP. RANCHERS RECOVER AFTER BEING IMPACTED BY THE FIRES. THEY LOST A LOT OF CASTING CAST IN BRONZE ON OPERATION AHEAD GOING. YOU KNOW, BURR STEERS THEY LOST A LOT, I WAS OUT THERE. YESTERDAY SURVEY AND I TALKED TO SOME OF THE RANCHERS THAT I KNOW. IT'S BAD. IT'S BAD. IT'S TERRIBLE OUT THERE. SO THERE'S JUST NOT GOING TO HAVE ANY CATTLE RIGHT NOW. THE PRICES MAY GO UP TRYING TO FIGURE OUT. WHAT'S WHAT'S WHAT THEY HAVE LEFT AROUND NOON ASSESS AND THEIR SITUATIONS. AND.

>>AND.

>>TRYING TO MAKE THIS POSSIBLE DECISIONS LIKE CAN'T DO. WHAT'S NEXT? THE CAYLE EITHER. BE RE, INTERRED OR OR OR BURIED, ACCORDING TO ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS. WAS FASCINATING WITH WHAT WAS HAPPENING RETIRED. TEACHER KAREN KAHN RETIRED DENTIST. HUSBAND RANDY BOUGHT A CONDO IN THE 96 UNIT MORGAN TREES COMPLEX ABOUT 7 YEARS AGO. SHE'S A MEMBER OF THE HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION BOARD HERE AND WAS STUNNED TO FIND OUT. THE COMPLEX WAS LOSING ITS INSURANCE LATE LAST YEAR. THE BOARD SCRAMBLE TO FIND ANOTHER INSURER, BUT COULD ONLY GET 1 THE CHARGE DOUBLE. WHAT THEY WERE PAYING FOR LESS COVERAGE. THE BOARD IS COVERING THE EXTRA COST WITH CASH RESERVES THIS YEAR. BUT WILL PROBABLY NEED TO RAISE HOV FEES SIGNIFICANTLY NEXT YEAR. 75 PERCENT OF THE RESIDENTS ARE RETIRED AND ON FIXED INCOMES. HOW ARE YOU FEELING ABOUT ALL US.

>>SCARED THOSE LIVING IN MORE COUNTRIES AREN'T ALONE INSURANCE INDUSTRY. EXPERTS SAY THIS IS A GROWING TREND NATIONALLY FOR CONDO OWNERS IN FOR THOSE INITIAL. WAYS FOR CONDO COMPLEXES WITH INSURANCE COMPANIES PULLING THEIR COVERAGE. AFTER HUGE LOSSES DOWN SOUTH

>>THIS FENCED OFF LOT ON STATE. LAND WAS ONCE A DRUG FUELED HOMELESS CAMP NEIGHBORS IN WEST SEATTLE. WE'RE GLAD TO SEE IT GO. IT'S BEEN A LOT ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. NO MORE GOOD WOMEN SCREAMING HOW THIS WAS 1 OF THE EARLY ENCAMPMENT. TARGETED BY THE STATE'S RIGHT OF WAY INITIATIVE AFTER NEIGHBORS COMPLAINED OF ONGOING. CRIME AND HOMELESS CAMPERS WHO SET UP A SWIMMING POOL WITH A SMALL. BUT IT WAS A PROBLEM I MEAN PEOPLE WERE GETTING A SOLID PEOPLE OUT HERE. AT NIGHT POP GUNS GOING OFF ALL TIMES IN THE NIGHT KING COUNTY. SO FAR, 11 ENCAMPMENTS ON STATE PROPERTY HAVE BEEN CLEARED IN THOSE LIVING. THERE OFFERED SHELTER AND SERVICES, BUT IT TOOK RELENTLESS EFFORTS BY NEIGHBORS BEFORE. STATE OFFICIALS STEPPED IN CONCERN FOR US. BUT THAT NEIGHBORS CAN'T MISS TO GET CLEARED OFTEN. GET REOCCUPIED IN THE STATE. IT'S TO BE VIGILANT STAY, ON COURSE. IF THEY DON'T KEEP GOING, WEST IS GOING TO GET MORE GALLUP

>>CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR GAVIN NEWSOM FACING ANOTHER RECALL THREAT OVER MISMANAGEMENT OF THE STATE. A CITIZEN LED GROUP CALLED RESCUE CALIFORNIA NEEDS 1.4 MILLION SIGNATURES TO MAKE THE NOVEMBER. BALLOT, THE GROUP'S DIRECTOR, SAID IN A STATEMENT, CALIFORNIA NEEDS A FULL TIME GOVERNOR. THIS MAY BE OUR LAST OPPORTUNITY TO RESCUE AND RESTORE OUR STATE. WHILE WE HIGHLIGHT FOR THE REST OF THE COUNTRY, THE DESTRUCTION NEWSOM HAS LEFT. IN HIS WAKE, THE HOUSE MOVING FORWARD WITH PLANS TO HOLD SECRETARY OF STATE ANTONY BLINKEN. IN CONTEMPT OF CONGRESS, THIS ALL FOLLOWS HIS ALLEGED REFUSAL TO COMPLY WITH A SUBPOENA. AND HAND OVER DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THE FAILED WITHDRAWAL FROM AFGHANISTAN UNDER BIDEN. WOULD BECOME THE 1ST SECRETARY OF STATE TO BE HELD IN CONTEMPT OF CONGRESS. IF IT DOES MOVE AHEAD NEXT WEEK, STILL AHEAD IN OUR NEXT HOUR. THE BORDER.

>>DUEL PRESIDENT BIDEN FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP TRADING BLAME ON THE TOP ISSUE FOR VOTERS. THIS ELECTION YEAR.

>>AND NEW DETAILS ON A MAJOR THIS ELECTION YEAR.

>>AND NEW DETAILS ON A MAJOR HEALTHCARE HAC (??) Business can happen virtually anywhere. (??) But there's nothing like being there. At National, you can skip the counter...

and choose any car in the aisle...

even manage your rental right from the app. So you can give some quality time to a quality cause. Swing by to see one more customer...

[audience cheering] And really get down to business. Go National. Go Like a Pro.
