OLYMPIA, Washington, Sept. 17 -- The Washington Health Benefit Exchange issued the following statement on Sept. 15, 2021, by CEO Pam MacEwan:

Pam MacEwan, CEO of Washington Health Benefit Exchange (Exchange), issued the following statement regarding the initial 2022 health insurance plans certified for participation in the state marketplace:
"Today, the Exchange Board certified eleven carriers to sell on Washington Healthplanfinder, with one remaining to be certified.
"We look forward to a successful open enrollment and working with our participating carriers to best serve the people of Washington."
2022 individual Exchange health and dental insurers certified today:
* BridgeSpan
* Community Health Network of Washington
* Coordinated Care of Washington
* Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest
* LifeWise Health Plan of Washington
* Molina Healthcare of Washington
* PacificSource Health Plans
* Premera Blue Cross
* Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon
* Regence BlueShield
* UnitedHealthCare of Oregon
* Delta Dental*
* Dentegra Dental*
All plans certified by the Board must first be approved by the Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC). Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington plans are still under OIC review and will be certified at a later date.
