W. R. Berkley Corporation Announces Pricing of $300 Million of 4.00% Senior Notes Due 2050

GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- W. R. Berkley Corporation (NYSE: WRB) (the “Company”) announced today that it priced an offering of $300 million aggregate principal amount of 4.00% Senior Notes due 2050 (the “Notes”). The offering is expected to close on May 12, 2020, subject to customary closing conditions. The net proceeds of the offering will be used to repay at maturity on September 15, 2020 the Company’s $300 million aggregate principal amount of 5.375% Senior Notes.

BofA Securities, Credit Suisse, J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley are joint book-running managers of the offering.
